JATO Aviation is proud to present a Spin Seminar at our office at San Carlos Airport (KSQL). The morning will start with guest speaker Tim Decker – airshow and retired Air Force Pilot. Then Blake Coleman and Chelsea Stein Engberg, two of our Aerobatic Safety Instructors will provide you with all of the answers and more. Starting out with 2 hours ground seminar we will go through the basic aerodynamics, the myths, the realities and the mechanics behind spins in a general aviation aircraft including a look at some NTSB accident reports. From there we’ll cover recovery techniques and safety considerations for aerobatic flight including use of parachutes, emergency procedures, FAA regulations and the effects of spin training on the body.
